Tanzania Gender Networking Programme (TGNP) is a non governmental organisation which advocates for a transformed Tanzanian society where there is gender equality, equity and social justice. The overall objective is building a feminist social movement that is capable of engaging, challenging and claiming changes in policies, institutional structures and processes at all levels for social gender transformation and women’s empowerment. 1.0 Programme Officer - Monitoring and Evaluation
Responsibilities:
Oversees and facilitates the planning and formulation of programs/projects; proposals writing, fundraising and resource mobilisation, implementation, monitoring/ evaluation and reporting. Develops, improves and documents results based monitoring and evaluation systems, procedures, processes, tools within the organisation including strategic programme framework. Provides methodological and technical support to Monitoring and Evaluation activities for the organization including the coordination of advisory services.
Key Qualifications and experience:
Masters degree in Social Sciences, with specific focus on planning (programming) applied research methods and evaluation, including formal training in project management (M&E). Working experiences of at least 3 years of work in similar position. Exposure and experience to the management of consultancy activities and assignments.
Key Competencies:
•Excellent knowledge in planning including logical framework based planning and evaluation methodologies for projects/programmes.
•Capacity in designing/ development of programmes, projects and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems.
•Exposure and understanding of participatory methods in programming M&E
•Knowledge of statistics and database.
•Good communications and writing skills, public speaking and presentation ability;
•Knowledge of NGOs work and understanding of gender and development will be an added advantage
2.0 Programme Officer: Human Resource Management
Responsibilities: Determining human resource strategic and programmatic needs and priorities of the organisation. Oversee and provides leadership in the various human resource functions which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counselling.
The HR Officer detailed responsibilities will include:
◦Coordinating staff recruitment and selection processes and selection processes to ensure timely and comprehensive procedure in hiring staff
◦Monitor staff performance and ensure accountability
◦Developing skills and capacities of staff to enhance performance
◦Developing HR policies on working conditions, performance, management, and disciplinary procedures
◦Undertaking salary reviews and other remuneration issues including promotions and benefits
◦Administration of the payroll system, maintaining staff records, supporting line managers on all HR policies or other employment legislations
Key Qualifications and experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business, or related discipline. A graduate degree is preferred. Working experiences of at least 3 years as senior HR officer or similar position.

3.0 Programme Officer: Library and Information Services
Key Responsibilities:
The Programme Officer Library and Information is expected to provide co-ordination, and technical expertise for the delivery of all information and knowledge management services including library and information services, database and cyber café, to TGNP programmes and other stakeholders of the organisation. Knowledge and skills in Feminist bookshop management and information technology are added advantages.
Qualifications
Minimum of a University degree in librarianship /information science/ Information Management, Information studies from a recognised institution. Competencies
•Competence in both manual and computerized library management systems database management systems, manual and computerised document/ record management systems, content management systems for website and other knowledge and information management packages for information centre.
•Programming skills and project management i.e. planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluations.
•Highly computer literacy with several knowledge and information management packages.

5.0 Programme Officer Records Management
Overall Purpose:
To provide day-to-day records and document management within the Organization ensuring there is systematic control, organization, access to and protection of the Organization’s information in whatever media: tape, disc, paper or film, from its creation through its use, to its permanent retention or legal destruction. Main
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Responsible for day-to-day records management issues in the TGNP;
•Responsible for controlling both quantity and quality of records created by the Organization;
•Responsible for ensuring that records are properly captured and classified;
•Responsible for ensuring that records are kept secure and neither destroyed prematurely nor kept too long;
•Conducting wise selection of records for either destruction or preservation in the archive;
•Ensuring continuity of business operations in case of disaster;
•Responsible for implementation of TGNP Document Management Policy & Standards;
•Responsible for implementation of TGNP Records Retention & Disposal Policy;
•Responsible for updating/amending the Document Management Policy & Standards and Records Retention & Disposal Policy;
•Responsible for coordinating records/documents capture in the electronic system and availing them to users in time;
•Responsible for records/documents back up in the electronic system on daily basis as a disaster recovery measure.
General Qualifications and Requirements
•Education: preferably Bachelors Degree in Library & Information Sciences. Alternatively, First Degree and Diploma in Library & Information Studies/Diploma in Archives & Records Management

6.0 Personal assistant to the ED Responsibilities:
The Personal Assistant to the Executive Director will have overall responsibilities Providing management and administrative support to the ED. This position requires an excellent all rounder who has knowledge and skills to handle a diverse work load. The position requires supporting the ED by proactively creation and maintaining systems to keep the ED organised and effective.
The key responsibilities will include:
•Manage the calendar of the ED on issue of invitations, booking meetings, and make priorities
•Filter ED’s incoming calls, e mails, paper mail and visitors
•Prepare official correspondences i.e. thank yous, invitations
•Act as administrative contact for Directors of the Board, TGNP Members, donors and other key partners

Responsibilities:
Overall responsible for the designing, planning, implementation and monitoring of training programme activities, outputs and impacts. Responsible for the coordination and delivery of quality gender training products and services, monitoring and impact evaluating. Develops and updates training manuals and materials, tools and methodologies for enhancing feminist, animation gender capacities of development actors at different levels within and outside the country. Responsible for identifying, developing, strengthening, expanding of the base of resource persons / trainers and facilitators. Responsible for the strengthening and developing linkages with clients, peer Gender Training Institutions and other strategic actors/institutions for the promotion of GTI activities.
Key Qualifications and experience:-

8.0 Systems Administrator
Overall purpose: Providing systems support for a large scale and high performance computing including installation and management of computer systems, workstations, operating systems, peripheral and system interface.
Position Summary:
•Design, develop, program and manage websites, databases, servers and other computing and IT systems for the Organization.
•Formulate policies, establish priorities independently resolve routine and non-routine technical matters; provide technical analysis, user support and oversee repairs/upgrades for the full range of organization ICT needs;
•Manage administrative and technical functions to ensure a complete, up-to-date and smoothly functioning IT infrastructure. Provide direct IT support for events and other special requirements.
Key Tasks: ·
◦Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.·
