Five Day Workshops to Prepare Students for University Life

Venue: RAIDA High School and Learning Center
Time : 6th June – 11th June 2011
20th June – 25th June 2011
July 11th -16th 2011

RAIDA High School and Learning Center is organising a series of workshops targetting individuals who are entering University or tertiary education for the first time.
Purpose : The purpose is to support first year students to manage challenges of the transition from a very protected environment of high school to an independent life and its challenges.
Some of the topics will include:

• Setting your learning goals
• Time management
• Balancing social life and academics
• Managing peer pressure
• Stress management
• Nurturing your spritual, mental and physical health

Mode of Delivery
Each topic will be facilitated by experienced facilitators who will use animation and participatory approaches .
